    Specifically designed for POS locations where space is at a premium, the HP USB

    Mini Magnetic Strip Reader is is a fully intelligent swipe reader that can be programmed to divide, rearrange, edit and validate fields of magnetic card data.

    The HP USB Mini Magnetic Stripe Reader reads up to three tracks of information with a single swipe of a magnetic stripe card in any direction. The beeper and LED signal a successful read. It automatically distinguishes between AAMVA and CA DMV formats.

    It can be used as a freestanding unit or can be permanently mounted using the threaded inserts in the bottom of the reader via screws or Velcro, hook and loop fasteners.

    At just 3.5 inches long—about the length of a credit card, the HP USB Mini Magnetic Strip Reader has a very small footprint.

    The HP USB Mini Magnetic Strip Reader is the perfect companion for the HP Point of Sale system rp3000 and rp5700.

    HP peripherals carry a one year parts, labor, and on-site warranty. If purchased with an HP rp3000 or rp5700 Point of Sale Terminal, they assume the warranty of that PC; either 3 or 5 years parts, labor, and on-site warranty.

    HP requires authorization to sell their Point of Sale products on NON smart buy products.
