HP Retail POS Peripherals carry a three year options limited warranty, which includes three years of Advanced Exchange coverage (valid whether purchased with our without an HP POS terminal).  Extensions of service are also available via HP Care Pack Services to four (4) or five (5) years of coverage for the RPOS unit plus HP peripherals and HP monitor (service starting from date of HW purchase).  Accidental Damage Protection Care Packs are also available. 

ADP provides protection coverage for physical damage caused by or resulting from a fortuitous incident. Covered perils include non-intentional liquid spills in or on the unit, drops, falls, and electrical surge.  ADP can be purchased for the warranty period for three (3) years or, with a service extension, for four (4) or five (5) years. ADP covers the POS unit plus peripherals, including the monitor. HP requires authorization to sell their Point of Sale products on select items.
