NCR Counterpoint Utlizes Ingenico's ISC250. CounterPoint SQL allows you to use a signature capture device to obtain customer signatures electronically when your are processing credit cards or other transactions that require signature verification. When the customer signs the touch-sensitive signature capture device using the attached stylus or pen, the signature is transmitted to CounterPoint SQL and stored as a bitmap (.bmp) image. The signature image is included on the sales draft and can be included on any other form or report. PIN pads must be injected with the proper processor-specific information in order to encrypt transmitted data in a format that is compatible with the processor. Point-to-Point (P2PE) encryption is also an option with the use of NCR Secure Pay. Point-to-point encryption, also known as end-to-end encryption, ensures that card numbers, expiration dates, and debit card PINs are encrypted at the point of entry (i.e., the card swipe or manual entry via the payment terminal's keypad).
